May Your own Airfare Carry The actual Canal Air port Exchanges?

Your flight from Lexington, Kentucky or Memphis, Tennessee to Europe might take you through Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, or one of the three New York City airports. These days, airlines have interconnected to the point where your American flight might include a portion on a KLM Royal Dutch airlines plane. This flexibility of carriers tends to make flying more cost effective, but since all these varied airlines land at disparate airports, you never really know which you might change planes in.

New York is another hub that freely takes advantage of three airports within an hours drive of each other. Newark Liberty International is the newest and least crowded of the three. It's just a short shuttle or cab ride across the Verrazano Narrows Bridge and skirts the south edge of Brooklyn to JFK. LaGuardia to JFK is almost a straight line down the Grand Central Parkway and I-678 S. Newark Airport is about an hour away and LaGuardia about half that distance.

Going from LaGuardia to Newark will take you across the Williamsburg Bridge, through the Holland Tunnel, down the Pulaski Skyway and Lincoln Highway. That particular transfer is somewhere between the other two in both distance and time. The great thing about transfers among these airports is how common those transfers are. The only thing you need concern yourself with when planning a flight is to allow sufficient time to complete the transfer and check in at the new airport. Even if you plan your own trip through one of the online services like Travelocity or Priceline it makes sense to pay close attention to the New York airport transfer should it come up and schedule accordingly.

Airport transfers in New York are a regular part of flying in this area and you need not be afraid that you'll miss a flight because the shuttle driver got lost. These shuttles run as regularly as clockwork and the drivers know exactly where the airports are including which terminal is serviced by which airline. They are simply an extension of the airport system.

Keep a few points in mind and you won't have any problems at all:

• If possible, plan your Airport Transfers in New York away from rush hour traffic.
• Schedule enough time in your flight to safely make it from airport to airport and still check in.
• If things get a little tight, switch to a taxi or Airport Car Service to save time. Sure they cost a little more money but it's a reasonable fare and will cut your time in half.
• Stay calm. Transferring from LaGuardia to JFK is easy and done all the time.

Your travel between any of these airports could save you significant expense on your ticket. It might be easier to fly in and out of the same airport, but if you are traveling from a small regional airport to a major hub airport you could save a great deal making such a transfer. It doesn't matter if your flight takes the tunnel or the bridge, as long as you arrive at your chosen destination; the route is just an adventure.
